I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed on SL while also getting dressed in RL and getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time and ran into Jenn from church. She had some things to tell me! Apparently, everyone on base hates Dave and thinks he’s a serial killer. I will totally be using this against him in a court of law when the divorce proceedings begin.
I headed back home and resumed the install of Astellia that Cyn had told me about and wanted to play together. It was a very slow-going process, hard on the computer, and it even booted me off of SL. While that was running on the computer, I got on Fallout 76 on the X-box for a little while. I ended up playing a game called Dauntless on the X-box. It was a kind of cute game and it was fairly fun.
I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then we headed back home. He got on the Switch and I eventually got on Minecraft on the X-box. He joined me in the world I was playing and we played on there until it was time for him to get ready for bed.
I’d heard from Brad shortly before Casey got ready for bed and we made plans for me to go over there around 9. I had about 20 minutes after Casey was read to and tucked in, so I got on Aura Kingdom and created a new Level 85 character.
I stopped at the liquor store on the way to Brad’s house to get us some beer. When I got to his house, he was getting ready to pull some ribs out of the oven. He shared some with me, and damn the dude can cook. They were very good, to say the least.
We hung around chatting for a while, occasionally holding each other and kissing. He told me he was heading to Madison on Monday for 2 weeks of training at the new job and asked me if I could check on his house for him next Friday to make sure nothing got messed with.
We fooled around in the kitchen, then on the couch, for a while before finally heading upstairs. Things didn’t go quite as planned because we had both had too much to drink. I’d only had 4, but it had its effect on me nonetheless. We ended up just going to sleep.
