Welcome to Counsel City! We offer advice and support for a wide range of issues, from the physiological to the psychological. The easiest and most confidential way to receive advice is through our "Community" (message board) or "Chatterbox" (chat room). However, if you prefer to contact us through email, you may send a message to counselcity@gmail.com.
Our "Helpful Links" section will be constantly growing as more visitors and volunteers come to this site. We will be adding links to the best websites on the internet for any physiological or psychological disorder we come across. Visitors to this site may feel free to add links, though they will require moderation. All links submitted must be suitable for people of all ages.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Forum, Chat Room, or private email services offered at this site. If you are under 13, you may feel free to use our links section, but we must ask that you limit your access to that section of this site until your 13th birthday. We prefer our volunteers to be at least 18 years of age but will consider teens as young as 15 if specific criteria are met.
If you would like to volunteer for this site, please contact the webmaster for more information.
Disclaimer: Those who give advice and support at this website are here on a volunteer basis. They are not professionals and should not be thought of as such. If you need professional help, please ask one of us where you might find it, or ask your health care provider.
We were officially founded on August 28, 2006 by AmberKaye.
We provide advice and support to anyone over age 13. As stated in the disclaimer on our front page, we are not professionals. If, however, a professional Psychologist or Psychiatrist joins our team, we will let you know.
At this time, we deal primarily with psychological issues. It is our goal to, in the near future, be able to also offer advice and support for physiological issues. For your convenience, we have included a link in our "Helpful Links" section to WebMD. If you have any questions related to a physiological issue, you may submit it in a forum or chat room, and we will do the best we can to assist you.
Resources on hand: I, AmberKaye, the head of this organization, have many excellent resources at my disposal. I have books on psychology, "The Merck Manual," "The Pill Book (10th Edition)," as well as many books dealing with faith-based healing. I will use these books to guide me in helping the people who come to this site for assistance.
