I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then took care of my free book & paid emails before hopping on Black Desert.
Casey and I ran to Walmart to get a window A/C unit because the “little A/C unit that could” was not going to cut it. I moved it to my room and ordered one just like it for Casey’s room, for days when we need it.
When we got home, I got the A/C installed and cranked it up. It worked really well! I was able to do my ad-rating in the cool comfort of my living room, which was nice.
I dropped Casey off at Dave’s around 4:30 and found out Dave had off work Thursday — Monday for the 4th of July. With all the appointments on Tuesday, I decided I would try and find someone who could cover that shift for me so I could have Casey that night.
I headed back home and took a quick shower, then got ready for work. Work went well, considering it was with Brenda. It was the perfect blend of “chilling at the register for a few” and “doing other stuff.” We got out of there a tiny bit late because she was still working on the floors, we’d been super busy with guests in the store all evening.
I’d texted Brad and heard from him about an hour before close. I made quick plans to go and see him after. When I got there, I intended to wake him up the usual way but dozed off instead. He’d muttered something about waking him up, but I’m not sure if it was about wanting me to or not wanting me to.
He was up and out of bed by 6:05 the next morning and said he needed to get going quick. I guess he’s adapting to an earlier start to his days. I got up and got dressed quickly and headed home.
I started some coffee brewing and powered on the computer and Xbox, then jumped in the shower for a quick rinse. I got on Black Desert once I was clean, and spent a few hours playing around on there.
I took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, and otherwise focused on the life skilling I was doing on Black Desert.
The landlord and caretaker of the place stopped by at 11 and we went over the paperwork, making sure everything was in order. I wrote out the checks as well to cover June and July.
Once we wrapped that up, I headed over to Dave’s to pick up Casey for the rest of the day and night. When we got back, the caretaker came back and worked on fixing some things.
I had brought home my brother and dad’s old lionel train stuff for Casey, so he got busy playing with that. I got back to Black Desert.
I heard from Brad in the evening, he said he did something after work. When I asked what that was, I got quite the surprise!
I was in quite a bit of shock seeing him without a mustache and beard! But he’s still hot as hell. I tried to see if I could maybe see him, but didn’t hear more from him. With him having been outside, he may have got swept up in conversation with the neighbors and then crashed when he got back in, idk.
God, he’s so hot.
I kept playing Black Desert until I was ready for bed.
