I got up and got my coffee while the computer booted, then got Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school about the usual time, then headed back home.
I played around on Facebook and AFF for a while, until my free book & paid emails arrived. Once those had been gone through, I got started on work for a bit. After about an hour, I got on a call with Colin. I had much to tell him since I hadn’t talked to him on Tuesday.
Once we were done talking, I worked for a couple more hours. Then it was time to go pick Casey up from school.
Once I got Casey back home, he got on the toilet as usual. I got a few chores done, then got back to work. I worked for about 45 minutes, then folded laundry that had been in the dryer for days.
Casey and I got on Minecraft for a while together, until about 6:45. I got in the shower and let him continue playing.
I’d heard from Brad, which was a surprise since it was the 3rd day since I’d seen him and usually it’s the 4th when I hear from him again. We chatted a bit and I let him know I didn’t really have anything going on if he wanted some company.
While Casey got ready for bed, I got another 15 minutes of work done. I got Casey read to and tucked in around the usual time, then finished up the last hour of work I had to do.
About 10 minutes before I was finished for the day, Brad said he was listening to music if I wanted to “put up with that.” He gets melancholy and contemplative when he listens to music, it generally brings back a lot of war memories that are painful for him. I told him that I wouldn’t really put it as “putting up with,” and that I had 10 minutes of work so I would be there around 9:30.
I’d messaged Troy to see how things have been going, and he actually responded. We chatted for a bit, just about how we’ve been doing and whatnot. I was surprised how many messages we were exchanging, and happy with it. But, I don’t see myself going off with Troy when I have Brad. The option is there, Brad even said as much when we were chatting earlier, but I’m not sure I can bring myself to do that with the feelings I have for Brad.
I got there about quarter to 10 instead, and we hung around for a while. When he listens to music he talks a lot more, and I didn’t really have a whole lot to say so I just let him ramble. Sometimes he will say or do certain things that make me just want to say out loud “God I love you,” but I always stop myself.
I’ve decided that, since we’ve only known each other for a few weeks, it’s just too soon to tell him my feelings for him. I don’t want to go through the same bullshit I did with Daniel, but I don’t want to freak him out by telling him my feelings after only a few weeks. I will give it until it’s been maybe 2 or 3 months and then have that talk with him.
In keeping tabs on things going on with Daniel, it was noted that he and Jamie had changed their relationship statuses to “single” for a short while. He’d also apparently deactivated his Facebook, but that was only for a short while as well.
It was a little after midnight when we headed upstairs for the night. We snuggled for a while and then were fondling a bit but then I accidentally put him to sleep with my mouth lmao. So, I rolled over and went to sleep myself. It was super late anyway, so that was fine.
