Tuesday morning, woke up better but still didn’t want to get out of bed. Got up and got my latte, got parked on SL while getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. Dropped him off at school, then came back home.
Got on Aura Kingdom to refresh the bases, and then tried getting on DDO. The launcher said the game was down, though. Got on Conan to refresh the bases while Colin and I chatted in Discord vc with a couple other people from the clan.
Once the bases were refreshed, took care of my free book and paid emails before moving on to Blade and Soul. Spent the day doing farming and other miscellaneous tasks. I wanted to be on, but there wasn’t much to do but better my gear and collect needed materials.
Picked Casey up at the usual time. He said something about not having school on Thursday or Friday. I’d have to look at his school calendar to verify that, though.
Got him home and got him on the toilet. Checked the calendar and, sure enough, it would be spring break.
Continued playing on Blade and Soul until it was time to get Casey ready for bed. Got him tucked in, then worked on a few things on the game before going to bed myself.
Wednesday, woke up better again. I know I’m sleeping well and am comfortable in my new bed, but my body needs to catch up on all the sleep I feel I’d missed from the past couple years, and it will take time for it to heal and get back to normal.
Got my latte and got on SL to park while getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. He was pretty tired, I think he’s just not feeling 100% yet after having the strep throat followed by bronchitis. Dropped him off at school, then headed back home and got on Blade and Soul.
Kept working on improving my gear, mostly by farming for evolution materials. I wanted to complete one of my quests, but wanted better materials for it, only the materials rewarded from the quest were needed as well. I found a group going into the dungeons I needed, so I applied to join and they accepted. Only when I tried to actually enter the dungeon did I realize I had to complete a couple pre-requisite quests first. So, I worked on questing for the rest of the day.
Picked Casey up from school and got him home and on the toilet. Kept playing on Blade and Soul in the meantime.
Once he was done in the bathroom, I cooked some mac & cheese for him for his dinner. I just had another frozen meal.
After dinner, Casey played on the Nintendo until it was bedtime, while I was working on my quests. Then got him ready for bed, but he was being cranky again. I almost didn’t read to him because he was being a little monster, but he eventually apologized and I got him settled in ok.
Got back to work on my quests until I was ready for bed myself, but got sidetracked by a dungeon party invitation for both me and Autumn. She actually accepted, so I did as well. It was pretty simple, and she said she actually didn’t hate it, which was a bonus. She was disgruntled at first that the douche, Varzon, was in the party, but she seemed to somewhat get over it. Once we were done with that, we did one more quick one and then I went back to a bit of questing before actually going to bed.
