I got up and got my latte while the computer booted, then got parked on SL while getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school, then headed back home and got on ArcheAge. I’d planned to spend a good bit of the day on there, mostly doing gardening and trade runs.
I heard from Daniel fairly early, he was saying he had to bring a backpack to Tomah, so of course that meant he wanted to come by and see me. I had been wanting to see him anyway, so I told him I’d leave the door unlocked. He was still in Cashton and I ended up spending hours sitting around waiting for him to show up.
While waiting, I kept up with my gardening, but I ended up not doing any trade runs. I also took care of the dishes and litter box in “real life.”
Finally, Daniel arrived with a little under an hour for us to have our fun. During said fun, he asked me about going away with him in a couple weeks. He said some other things, too, that further cement my belief that he does love me. I think he’s meant it when he’s said it, and later retracts it because he’s trying to protect one or both of us from getting hurt. But it’s been almost a year of us seeing each other now, I want more than what we currently have. Maybe he’s scared that I won’t ever leave Dave, since we’re still living together and legally married after years of being separated? I’m not sure. But something’s gotta give.
I was barely on time to pick Casey up from school, and could barely stand at that point. If anybody noticed my state, they didn’t say anything.
I brought Casey home and got back on ArcheAge. I got on Discord voice with the one guy I’d met the other night that leads the Raider group, and mentioned being on ArcheAge. I intended to get some packs run but was eager to get on Fallout 76 so I used my labor on gear upgrades instead.
Finally on Fallout 76, I spent most of the time working on quests, and did that throughout the rest of the evening.
I got Casey to do his bedtime stuff a little earlier, and then we sat down to read. The book he read to me was more challenging for him and he kept getting frustrated with it. He’s a really good reader, but I think he expects to be able to read all the words already. After he finished reading, I read a couple chapters from the Minecraft book to him and tucked him in.
I got back to Fallout 76, and stayed up later than I expected after the exertion from earlier.
