I got up and got my coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.
I waited for my free book & paid emails to arrive, then took care of them before hopping on Fallout 76 on the Xbox. I spent some time there before switching things over to Minecraft. Cyn didn’t wait as long to join me this time, thankfully.
We spent much of the rest of the day playing there. I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then got back to it on Minecraft.
A friend from Fallout joined us and he stayed for a good long while. I was all happy that he’d joined us until the moment when he killed a horse for no apparent reason. He wouldn’t explain himself, just said that it had to be done. But it made me feel like I had to keep guard over my stuff.
After he’d gone off, Cyn and I decided together that we wanted another large aquarium. I started looking at designs for that after getting Casey read to and tucked into bed.
I was really hoping to hear from Brad, but it wasn’t looking too good. Cyn and I were still on Minecraft working on her house aquarium when it started getting past the point of no return. I would have to go to bed and turn him down for the first time ever if he invited me over.
Cyn and I wrapped things up on Minecraft, later than we should have. I got ready for bed and sent Brad a text wishing him good luck on his interview the next day. I thought, if he texted me quick enough, I’d probably go over there anyway. But he didn’t, so I laid down. I wasn’t as tired as I should have been but eventually drifted off to sleep.
