Tuesday

I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.

Much to my dismay, Dave was home from work again.

It had snowed the night before, so I got started on clearing at least my half of the driveway. Thankfully, Dave came out to use the snowblower on his half.

I headed back inside and took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, then worked on the finances. Things were looking so good that I was able to adjust the budget to start paying 7.5 times the minimum monthly payment on a few of my personal cards that Dave’s name isn’t on. It won’t even be noticeable to him because all it did was bring those payments up to around the same amount as the other credit card payments we make monthly. But it will help me try and get my personal debt paid down a lot before the divorce. Hopefully, I can pay it off entirely once we get our taxes back. That will help me a lot to stay on my own two feet once I am out of here and living on my own again.

Once all that was done, I got on Astellia on my Assassin. I wasn’t really in the mood to do anything on her, though.

Colin was available to chat, so I actually called him even though Dave was home. After a little while, though, I ended up going to Aldi. We talked until I was back at home. I drove by Brad’s on the way to make sure his sidewalk wasn’t too bad. If it had been bad, I would have shoveled it for him.

Once I was home from the store, I got everything put away. I went to show Dave the Macaroni & Cheese Pizza that I’d found and got for Casey, but he flipped out on me for even trying to speak to him, then claimed he was stressed out about his homework and not in the mood to deal with anything. Well, it’s not my fault you can’t handle your schoolwork, don’t take that shit out on me, asshole.

I got on Portal Knights to try and figure out how to get the “dedicated server” thing working again, with the world that we’ve been playing. I had everything working except for being able to connect to the IP address that I would need to give Cyn or anyone else for them to connect to it. The only benefit to running the server, though, is if I want to run it for someone else to play on the world when I’m not on it.

I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then we headed back home. He got busy with his Switch, and I played Portal Knights with Cyn. I made my world public so random people could join. One person joined and ended up giving me and Cyn some wings. Another person joined at another time and helped us progress with the event we had started.

Around 5:30, we went ahead and switched over to Astellia. I hopped in the shower quick while the world was loading, then we spent some time farming particular mobs for food that we wanted to cook. Once we were tired of that, we wandered around the previous map looking for cooking ingredients. Food is beneficial to stats, depending on what you eat.

I got Casey snuggled into bed around the usual time, then got back to Astellia. I was getting tired but didn’t want to go to sleep yet. Instead, we worked on the Star’s Tale for the area we’d just finished questing in. Then we ran a dungeon together before moving on to the next area. I was too tired to continue, so I logged out and went to bed.
