I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.
I took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, then got on ArcheAge to take care of my gardens. A while later, I headed to Walmart because I didn’t feel like sitting around the house doing nothing.
I got a few things at Walmart, then headed home and got everything put away. A new thing I got was called a “Jot” by Boogie Board. It’s basically a sort of electronic writing tablet.
I didn’t do much of anything while at home and eventually headed out to pick Casey up from school. Once I’d picked him up, I asked if he wanted to go with me to Walmart so I could get my hair cut since it was overdue. He ended up wanting to get his cut as well. I looked to see if I could find the smaller Jots there, but I couldn’t. We headed back home.
Casey got on the toilet, and I got on ArcheAge to tend my garden again. Then, I got us both dinner. He had a bath after he ate.
I got on Astellia at the usual time for the usual reason, feeling more and more upset that Cyn wouldn’t get on with me but would sit on SL doing nothing instead. Either I’ve been replaced, or she’s just being that shitty of a friend. I know she’s going through a lot right now, but shouldn’t you spend more time with your best friend to try and feel better emotionally?
When it was time to tuck Casey in, he started pitching a fit because he didn’t get any time to play. He’d had all day to play, but he was upset because he occasionally gets a bit more time after getting ready for bed that he can play if he wants. I put my foot down and said that he could come let me know when he was ready to be reasonable. Dave went in and ended up giving him 5 more minutes to play. He is the most irresponsible parent, I swear!
I finally read to Casey and tucked him in half an hour past his bedtime, then finished out the login timer on Astellia before getting on ArcheAge to tend the gardens. When I was done with that, I decided to just go to bed. I’d sent Brad a text around 5:30 but hadn’t gotten a response.
