Thursday

It’s official, I don’t sleep as well when I’m not wrapped in Brad’s arms. But should I say as much to him? Hmm, maybe when the time is right. Like, the next time he whispers something so incredibly sweet it makes me melt. I will always remember when he told me that the highlight of his night is when we’re making out.

I got up and put my PJs back on, then headed home and made some coffee while the computer booted. I got changed into clothes while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I got on Aura Kingdom while he was eating, and took care of the Gaia Chronicle. I dropped Casey off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.

I got on ArcheAge and took care of the gardens, then dealt with my free book & paid emails before hopping on Fallout 76 on the Xbox. It’s not that I don’t still want to play on the PC version, but it just doesn’t run as well as it does on the Xbox.

I also downloaded GOG’s Galaxy 2 on the computer, which combines several of the big launchers into one. It will launch the required launcher to launch the game, then close the launcher when the game is closed. Hopefully, that will help make things run a bit better on the computer when I do want to play PC games.

Most of the day was spent working on leveling on Fallout 76. I was in desperate need of all kinds of junk and ammo and was going to places where I could get both and also kill mobs for the XP.

I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, and we headed back home. He got on with his gaming and I got on with mine.

I got him ready for bed at the usual time, but then he showed me some bumps on his arm that look an awful lot like hand foot & mouth bumps. So he would be staying home from school the next day so I could get him seen. If it’s nothing, then great. If it’s hand foot & mouth, he’ll need an antibiotic to clear it up.

I was working on copying over Minecraft data from the computer to a USB drive, to see if I could get it all on the Xbox that way. I had that copying while I was reading to Casey. Once he was tucked in, I got back on the Xbox and played some more Fallout 76 until I was ready for bed myself. I was overly tired, but I knew that if I heard that sound of Brad’s text coming in I would go over there anyway. I never did hear it before drifting off to sleep.
