I got a text around 5:30am saying that school was going to be delayed by 2 hours, so I ignored my alarm and stayed snuggled up to Brad for longer. His alarm started going off, but he wasn’t stirring and I knew I needed to get going to let Casey know he had extra time before school. So, I got up and got dressed, then headed home.
I let Casey know he had extra time, then got some coffee while the computer booted. I took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, then took Casey to school.
Back home, I got on Astellia and claimed the card packs on my characters before playing my Assassin for a little while. I left the game running, but decided to read for a while. I ended up spending most of the day reading while Cyn was out doing stuff.
When my Assassin had gotten her daily login, I’d switched to my Scholar so she could get it too, but kept reading.
I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then we headed back home. He got on his new game on the Switch, and I went back to reading until it was time to go to the school for Family Science Night.
Once we were home from that, Casey got ready for bed and I hopped in the shower. I got him tucked in around the usual time and went back to reading. Cyn had finally made it home around 9, but I kept reading and ignored her message. I was planning to go to bed when I finished the book anyway, but that ended up not being until about 10:30.
