Thursday

I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.

I took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, then got on ArcheAge to deal with the gardening. Then, I got on SL to continue working on listing gacha items for sale on the Marketplace.

I was talking with Cyn and she was heading to the store to get toilet paper. They only had 3 rolls left and were worried about all the people hoarding toilet paper, that they might not get any for themselves when they legitimately needed it. She sent me pics of the empty shelves when they got to Walmart. I decided to go ahead and go try and buy some myself, figuring that little tiny Tomah would surely have stock. I was wrong. I spent a bit of time looking around the store and picked up a few things, then headed back home and put everything away.

I got back to work on listing items on the Marketplace, and otherwise just kinda hung around for a while. I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then headed to a local grocery store to see if they had any toilet paper. Most of what they had was their store brand, so I grabbed a couple packs of it and headed home.

We didn’t have long to spend at home, but there was enough time for Casey to try and poop as well as get him some dinner. Then we headed to the school for his Parent-Teacher Conference. He’s still doing great academically, but the social concern is there and it was recommended that we have him evaluated for something on the Spectrum. I’ve wondered for years if he’s mildly Autistic (no, I don’t blame vaccines!) and am going to go ahead and have him evaluated, at least to see if there’s something we can do for him socially.

We looked around at the book fair and picked out a couple books, then headed to the Burger King drive-thru. Dave ordered that bullshit new “Impossible Whopper.” I didn’t order just any whopper, but the one with cheese and bacon. We headed home and got Casey back on the toilet while we ate.

Casey was getting highly upset about all this time he was forced to spend on the toilet, but we needed him to get the poop out in the toilet instead of these constant messes in his underpants.

When it was finally time for him to get ready for bed, I think he was probably relieved because that would mean an extended break from the toilet. I read to him and tucked him in, then got back to the computer. I’d logged onto Astellia around the usual time for the login timer, and spent the time scrolling through Facebook. Tons of good memes!

I’d hoped to hear from Brad but didn’t expect to. It was for the best since I’d be able to sleep in if I stayed home because Casey was off school on Friday. But, if I went to Brad’s, I’d have to get up early because Dave still had work. With any luck, Brad would come over while Dave is out of town this weekend.

Eventually, I ran out of memes, and also ran out of energy, so I got ready for bed myself.
