I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then took care of my free book & paid emails before heading to Walmart for some things. They were sure getting a ton of my money lately, but it was all needed to get me set up for independent living. And the stimulus was to get me set up in my own place, and that’s what it’s going toward.
I headed back to the apartment and got everything put away, and got started with some more cleaning, with a real mop though. I also got on Black Desert, but was spending more time afk than actively playing.
I was on a video call with Casey in the evening. He was jumping up and down on the bed and I told him to be careful. Well, he ended up falling backward and banging his head really hard at the foot of Dave’s bed. He was crying for a while, and my heart was breaking because I couldn’t wrap him in my arms to soothe him. It certainly didn’t help matters any that Dave told him “If I ever see you jumping on a bed again it’ll be the last thing you do.” When Casey finally settled down a bit he asked if I could come and get him, so I did.
Casey was fine once he was at my place. He spent some time on his phone until it was time to get ready for bed. He didn’t argue about getting ready for bed. I read to him and tucked him in.
I got back to Black Desert, paying a bit more attention to it now that most of my work had been done for the day. I kept playing on there until I was ready for bed myself.
