I got up relatively early, which was a pleasant surprise considering I’d had to work the night before. I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then took care of my free book & paid emails before getting on Black Desert for the day. My friend Shawn introduced me to hiring workers to produce goods for me to process and sell. Hopefully, that would generate enough income in the game for me to be able to buy my better weapons.
I sent Brad a text in the evening and heard back from him relatively quickly. He’d had an alright weekend, but needed to get to bed early because he still had work to catch up on following the storms last Tuesday. I’d hoped to be able to see him, but I know for a fact that he will not get extra sleep if I’m around lol. We’d be too busy “snuggling.”
Casey was being difficult at his bedtime. He does this thing where he has to feel like he has “extra time” after he’s done getting ready for bed. But then he takes so long getting ready for bed that it turns out it really is extra time, and we always start reading after 8:30. I’d told him that he could have 5 more minutes, but when I went in there he started fussing about having only just started whatever it was he was doing. So I told him he could have 5 more minutes. I go back in there and he pitches an absolute fit because time flew and he didn’t have enough extra time. He screamed and cried for a bit, then went into Dave’s room to talk to him for a while. He finally calmed down and I offered to read to him. I read a couple chapters, then tucked him in.
I continued playing on Black Desert for a couple hours until I was ready for bed myself.
