So this happened...

I was at a routine follow-up with my Sports Medicine doc. I had an MRI last week on my ankle to try and find what's been causing my issues for the past, idk, year or so. He shows me the imagery and says I need to be in a boot and using crutches (ie not putting any weight on that ankle) until my pain is at a 0. There is quite a bit of irritation on my ankle bone and this will be necessary to try and prevent surgery.

This has turned my world upside-down. I'm not even sure how to describe the way I feel right now. Or the way I felt when I texted the below photo to my boss, essentially letting her know I'm done for the foreseeable future.

All I have words to say at this point is that I am so thankful I have Greg, Casey, and our friends to help me out in the coming weeks/months. I don't know how I'd do it otherwise.
