Saturday

I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then took care of my free book & paid emails. I didn’t really do much else the rest of the day besides mess around on Facebook.

I dropped Casey off at Dave’s at 11, then headed back home and picked up where I’d left off. I got ready for work when it was time, and headed out when I needed to.

The shift went really well. I worked with Brianna, and we had an elderly lady, Connie, manning the registers until 6 so we had time to get stuff done. We finished everything remarkably early, for which I was thankful.

I heard from Brad briefly, he texted me after he’d gotten his daughters to bed. This was a first for him, so it was incredibly sweet. I reminded him that I was at work until 12:15-ish, but he said he’d probably be asleep by then. I texted him when I got off work anyway but didn’t get a response.

I headed back home and made the rounds on some games before heading to bed myself.
