I spent a couple hours relaxing and getting things packed up, then headed over to Dave’s for a mini-party for Casey’s 8th birthday. He was excited to get going to Grammy and Grampy’s, so we ended up leaving earlier than expected. The drive went well, up until about the last half-hour when my knee began to really hurt. We made it to the hotel, got checked in and dropped off our bags, then spent the rest of the evening at my parents’ house before heading back to the hotel for bed.
