Got up and grabbed a latte while the computer booted up. Got parked on SL while getting Casey up, dressed and fed. Dropped him off at Summer Pack about the usual time then headed back home.
Did the bill pay stuff, things are ok-ish. Still way too much credit card debt, I really need to find work that I can do that fits in with my schedule (Casey). Our grocery expenses aren’t as bad as they were a month or so ago, but other extraneous spending is up. That’s not good.
Took care of my free book & paid emails as they arrived, then got on Aura Kingdom and messed around a bit.
Heard from Colin around noon-ish and he got on Sims and went on about all that again. He gives me a play-by-play of what his Sims are doing, all the while bitching about how much he hates the game and the company who makes it.
Picked Casey back up from Summer Pack and he looked like he’d had a good day, which was a relief. Came back home and he did his usual thing. I spent a good bit of time just staring at the computer, not really wanting to do much of anything.
Got Casey to bed later than I wanted because he was wanting me to read a mad lib to him. It was already past his bedtime when he asked about it, so I said no because they always rile him back up when I’m trying to get him to bed, and since it was late he needed to wind down and sleep. He wouldn’t let it go and I threatened to take away stuff, which actually didn’t help. I ended up saying he could go pick out anything else he wanted to read, as long as it wasn’t a mad lib. Finally got to read to him and tuck him in.
Got on Aura Kingdom with Cyn and spent some time working on our alts we’d made together, until I was ready for bed.
Tuesday morning, got up and grabbed my latte while the computer booted, then parked on SL while getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. Dropped him off for Summer Pack, then came back home and got on the computer for a bit.
Took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, then attended a sort of pre-interview session for a work from home company. It went well, and she said everyone in attendance would be getting an assessment to complete and then be put into their candidate pool for jobs that come available. I asked about taking breaks (if working full time) to get my son to and from school, and it probably wouldn’t work but I’d have to ask my team lead when the time came. Hopefully we can work something out.
Spent time on Aura Kingdom on and off, doing miscellaneous daily tasks to try and level up. Also spent much too much time on Facebook again. Since Daniel has occasionally deactivated his, it’s got me wondering if I should consider the same, just because I’m spending too much time on there. But, I’m spending too much time on there because I’m either talking to him or waiting for messages from him.
Heard from Colin around noon-ish again, and listened to the same old Sims stuff. It’s kinda driving me mad.
Went to the store to get a few things, but there wasn’t really much I needed to get. I wanted to just be out of the house for a bit, so I took my time walking through the store.
Picked Casey up from Summer Pack and brought him back home, then had him do his usual. Got back on Aura Kingdom for lack of anything better to do.
Finally heard from Daniel for the first time since Friday, he’d been busy and had Michael a couple extra days. His old boss back in Milwaukee had been pretty much begging him to come back, and offered him $30 an hour instead of the $20 he was been making here. I know he’d been thinking about it for a while, and he’d finally come to a decision. He’d be moving back there and spending weekends here. I mentioned about the trip this weekend, and he said money was tight but it’s still a maybe. Hopefully we can go together, and have a chance to talk about things.
Casey went to bed easier, and after getting him tucked in Cyn and I spent time on Aura Kingdom working on daily stuff together. We tried to do this one dungeon but the boss’s mechanics became a pain in the ass so we gave up. I did some other solo dailies then went to bed.
