I got up and got my latte while the computer booted, then got parked on SL while getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school about the usual time, then headed back home.
Dave was off work for Columbus Day but mostly stuck to himself.
I got on ArcheAge first thing to take care of gardening and tried to use as much labor as I was able. Then I took care of my free book & paid emails.
Dave went to Aldi for his grocery shopping. I was just eating lunch and decided to make the trip out to the Housing Authority.
I stopped in and grabbed the paperwork. The lady that gave it to me just said that the one form needed to be back by Thursday. I intended to have it back the same day.
I didn’t even notice the table with chairs that was in the office, so I ended up going to Walmart to sit at the Subway inside and fill everything out. One part of the form asked for information about the co-head of the household. I so badly wanted to put Daniel’s information down. I said as much, but then covered up my admission with a “just kidding.”
Once the paperwork was filled out, I returned it to the office and got a little more information about how the program works. Basically, I’d only have to pay 30% of my income in rent. It seems simple enough. I put on the form that I work for Uber Eats and DoorDash, and that I make *up to* $800 a month. I’ll need something that pays better, obviously. Or to find childcare so I can work more hours doing deliveries.
After I felt I had the information I needed, I made my way to Casey’s school. I was there 10 minutes earlier than usual but didn’t want to go home just to turn around and leave again.
I brought Casey home and made sure he sat on the toilet, but he didn’t want to for very long because he wanted to play with some toys Dave had gotten out in the living room for him.
I finally got on Fallout for a bit, but then it crashed after I’d been tabbed doing other things for a while. Eventually, I made it back on and played around on there for the rest of the evening, just exploring.
I got Casey to bed around the usual time, then continued my exploring for a while. I got to bed earlier than usual.
