I was able to get a bit of sleep at Brad’s. I got up and got dressed, gave him a quick kiss goodbye, then headed home. I got some coffee while the computer booted, then got Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school, then headed back home.
I spent some time scrolling through Facebook while waiting on my free book & paid emails to come in, then took care of those before getting started on work. I blasted through 4 hours of work before heading back to the school for the Veteran’s Day parade.
Dave walked with Casey through the parade and I shot video. At first, I was just going to take pictures, but then the drumline started and they were really good so I did a video instead.
After the parade, we headed home. Since the parade was late enough in the afternoon, Casey came with. He got situated in the bathroom and I resumed work after getting a small ham in the crockpot.
After I worked for an hour, I got some dinner and folded Casey’s laundry. Then I finished up the last hour of work before calling it a night there.
I sent Brad a text saying that I hoped he had a good day, and that I was pleased after getting extra work done myself.
I got Casey ready for bed and tucked in, then tried getting on Fallout 76. I got in a Discord call while launching, but the performance was still a huge problem. I closed some unnecessary software and changed my startup settings, then rebooted the router again. Still no luck, so I checked for updates and there were a few pushed out by Dell. I let the updates download and install, then went to bed.
