Slept in a little bit, then got up and got some coffee while the computer booted. Got parked on SL. When I went in the bathroom and saw myself in the mirror, I almost gasped aloud. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a frown on my face. Not like that, anyway. Not even when I’d lost my virginity via rape. I hadn’t even realized how much the loss of the baby had affected me. But there it was, evidenced on my face by a frown.
Got on ArcheAge and did the mundane tasks that usually started my day: checking on the gardens. Well, and the livestock. I do actually have a cow and 4 hens as well, for milk and eggs.
Once that was done, I spent the day, on and off, working on various quests, mostly tying up loose ends. I ended up working on the “Blue Salt” quest line, because someone said I’d be given some fancy motor as one of the quest rewards. I got to a point where I couldn’t really proceed without help, comfortably anyway, so I stopped.
Casey had spent most of the day watching stuff on the Roku, with a little bit of playing, and even some schoolwork, mixed in. I got him to bed on time, Dave still wasn’t home from work so I didn’t have to hassle with that. When Dave’s home, which is like 99% of the time, Casey spends like 45 minutes talking to him and delaying getting ready for bed. His school had given out a sheet to be filled in with all sorts of different ways to read, so to check off a couple of them we read on the floor under the kitchen table. That was weird and funny, but we checked off two different ways to read with one task.
After he was in bed, I was trying to do a cargo pack from my continent to the other, but just barely missed the ship so had to stand and wait for another. I’d already picked up the pack, so there wasn’t anything I could do without losing out on quite a chunk of gold. While I waited, I finished a book I’d been reading.
Once I’d been able to deliver the cargo pack, Cyn and I spent a little bit of time working on the Honor quest in Sanddeep. Then I tended the gardens one more time before going to bed.
