I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed while also getting Casey up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.

I took care of my free book & paid emails, then got started on work. I worked for about an hour and a half, then took a break before I got back to work for another hour and a half.

I picked Casey up from school at the usual time, then headed back home and got back to work. All in all, I ended up working another 6 hour day, which would make Saturday only 4 hours.

After I was finally done with work I got on Fallout 76 on the Xbox. I also downloaded a Halo set because Cyn said she would play that with me if it worked. It was included with the Ultimate Game Pass I temporarily have, so it at least gives me the chance to try it before I purchase it.

I got a text from Dave in the evening saying he was at Jennifer’s for the night, and that he was planning to take Casey over to her house Saturday after work.

I became irritated because I figured it would be my dumb luck that I would hear from Brad and he’d want to see me. I was spot-on, too. I ended up finally hearing from him for the first time since Monday. I hinted around at wanting company over at my house, and he finally caught on. I figured he wouldn’t come, but he surprised me by saying he would! I couldn’t believe it!

He didn’t get here until around 11:30. We hung around talking for a couple hours, then headed to bed. There were no complaints about the bed being so small, thankfully. We could have alternatively used the futon, but I kinda hoped we could be extra cozy on my bed.
