I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then waited for Dave to drop Casey off. Once he arrived, I got his lunch ready and took him to school for his last day of Summer Pack.
I headed back home and waited for my free book & paid emails too arrive, then took care of them once they did.
I spent the day pretty much just staring at the computer. I was supposed to have a doctor’s appointment right after dropping Casey off, but I rescheduled claiming “travel delays.” I couldn’t face having my cervix annihilated. I think a part of me was just hoping to see Brad later at night, and I wouldn’t be able to partake in any “fun” after the procedure.
I finally made the phone call to enroll in the HMO with BadgerCare, and the new plan will start on September 1st.
I picked Casey up from school and brought him back home. I spent a few hours doing more of the same — staring at the computer/Facebook. Dave came and picked Casey up, then I got ready for work.
Work was chaotic. Things hadn’t been done that should have been done by the time I got there, and we were busy so it was hard to get more done. We did our best, though. Then the truck didn’t show up until we were already outside locking up for the night, and the Comm(unication) Center told us we had to let him in to make his delivery. We didn’t get out of there until after 1am.
I made the rounds on the games when I got home, then went to bed. I felt defeated, having heard nothing from Brad still.
