Today I was trying to show someone one of my favorite things, my antique brass quill. Only, I discovered this beloved treasure had broken in half! I tried to superglue it back together, but the glue wouldn’t stick to it. I read online that some sort of epoxy could do the trick, so I’ll have to pick some up. In the meantime, I have been spending most of the rest of the day searching in various places for a replacement, only to find that this quill seems to no longer exist. I am completely devastated about this loss. Even if the epoxy works, it’s probably not a permanent fix. It must have gotten broken in a move, but it’s been so long since I’ve opened the small box it was in, I’m not sure which move it would have been broken in. I just can’t believe my favorite quill broke.
