Wednesday & Thursday

Got to bed kinda late, but still reasonable, Tuesday night. Slept pretty decent, actually. Still sore when I woke up, but felt decent enough. Well, except for my knee, of course.

Casey was off school for the 4th. He’d go back to school on Monday.

Got up, got parked in SL, then headed onto Minecraft.

I wanted some peace and quiet to play by myself for a while, so when Casey came and asked me if I was playing I lied and said I was not. He said he thought he heard me playing, and I insisted that I was not playing. He got on his tablet for a while, and I enjoyed some peace and quiet on MC by myself.

Once his tablet was about out of time, I booted up his computer for him and he joined me. I ended up taking him over the sky bridge to the village to do some trading, that was ok. He did kinda fall off the bridge with his horse, but made it to the village *mostly* in once piece. Did our trading and headed back home.

Dave grilled some hot dogs and sausages for an early dinner, with some baked beans that he soaked in bourbon. It was so yummy! Well, except for the beans. I ended up putting them back after trying a bite.

Around about our normal dinner time, Dave said he’d been invited to go watch fireworks in the woods by some lake with “someone.” The way he said it implied it was another woman. I’m not even sure I care anymore.

Casey and I continued playing Minecraft until about 8 or 8:30, then he was hungry. Once he was done eating, I got a bath ready for him. He’d needed it for a couple days. I wanted him to soak, so I told him to sit in the bath and count to 100, and then I’d come wash him. So, he did, and I followed through on my word. Got him washed up and he layed on my bed while he dried off.

Autumn had an idea to build a stable out by the village for our horses when we travel there. I thought this sounded like a good idea! She was busy working on that, as I was getting Casey tucked into bed.

I ended up going out there to help her collect supplies to build the stable. I also made a suggestion for the roof, and was thereby given the task of putting the roof on. I was having some trouble with it, at first, but then got the hang of it and got the roof on. I love it! And am super proud of my hard work!

After that, Autumn and I wanted to see if we could find the “end portal” using “ender eyes.” So, we ended up off on an adventure, and found what we were looking for. So, now we know where we go to summon the “ender dragon.” Casey’s all about fighting the ender dragon, but we think it’d be a horrible idea. He’d end up dying, I’d have to console him, and Autumn would fail without my focus and attention. So, we need to either talk him out of it, or do it behind his back.

It didn’t take as long as we thought to get to the point where we’d need to start digging. And, it was right by a village that we may or may not have been to before, lol. We’re really not sure if we’d been there or not. So, we started digging, lighting the place up like the 4th of July on our way down. Once we got down into the “stronghold” we just had to find our way to the portal. It took us a little while, but we found it. Afterward, there was really nothing to do but head home.

Once we got home, it was about 3am or so. I was rather wired with the excitement of finding the end portal. We’re not ready to even try to defeat the ender dragon quite yet, but it’s nice to know where to go to do it when we are ready.

So, I ended up doing some fishing to wind myself down to be able to sleep. I think it was about 4:30am by the time I was crawling into bed. It was already starting to get lighter outside. It still took me a while to fall asleep, but I managed to drift off eventually.

I slept ok until the last hour or so, when I started having a weird dream about the local Walmart. I had a problem with being double-charged for something, and called when I got home, and was given grief from everyone I spoke to, even upper management. Then I heard my alarm going off and it woke me up a bit. I heard Dave was up with Casey. He’d been out all night, so I’m guessing he slept with whoever he was with. I decided that, since he was home and up with Casey, I’d shut off my alarm and catch some more zzz’s. I was glad I did, I felt better once I got up. It was about 11am then, lol.

Dave and Casey were nowhere to be found, and I wasn’t too bothered about it, but wish he’d have left me a note or texted me. I let Colin know that they were out, but didn’t hear back from him for a bit.

Got on SL to park at the shop. Some people were sitting at the table I normally use, so I had to sit elsewhere. That was fine. Once I was settled in there, I took care of my free book & paid emails, then got on Minecraft.

Got to talk to Colin for a few minutes, but then the boys got home. Figures. If I could just speak to him without worrying about what Dave would say, whether it was “teasing” or otherwise, that would make a world of difference. As it is, we steal what moments we can, and when Dave’s at work we talk as long as we possibly can, unless one or both of us isn’t feeling the best.

When Casey got home from his time out with daddy, he joined me on Minecraft. I made him a mule, but I wasn’t able to make it a pack mule like I could mine. It was frustrating, and eventually I just gave up. I took him to the village again to do more trading, and this time he didn’t fall off the sky bridge.

We didn’t spend too long at the village, headed back home once I got what I needed. Casey stole some bricks from what we’d used to make the stable. I was irritated about it, but suppose we don’t need them anymore now that it’s done.

Played on Minecraft throughout the rest of the day, doing miscellaneous stuff I wanted to get done, like chopping down trees to make charcoal, harvesting things, basic necessities. “Chores.” I didn’t really know what else to do, and it was stuff I’d been wanting to get done anyway.

For dinner, I reheated some hot dogs from the night before and put cheese on them. It was super yummy! But, a couple hours after I ate, my stomach decided that my diet of the last few days was unacceptable.

So, it’s about 20 past 9, and it’s about time to get Casey tucked into bed. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing the rest of the night, once he’s in bed, but I’m sure it will involve more Minecraft.

So, until next time!
