I had to work at Kwik Trip, so Dave picked Casey up on his way home from Jennifer’s.
Work went fairly well. We were insanely busy, so I was stuck at the registers for much of my shift. Finally, the assistant store leader took over the registers so I could move around and get other things done.
I spent some time on Second Life in the evening, until I finally heard from Brad. He came over and we hung out for a while. He ended up asking how the Jambalaya turned out, saying that he knew he wouldn’t make it so thought there was no point in responding. I told him I wished he had responded even if it was to let me know he wasn’t coming.
We stayed up much too late, then headed to bed. He passed out in the middle of my tiny twin-sized bed, so I had trouble sleeping with very little space to myself. At least I got to snuggle him all night I guess.
