Slept in a little bit but not by much. Pressed the power button on the laptop to boot it up. There was coffee already made when I went out to the kitchen, so I poured myself a cup. Came back to the computer and got parked on SL.
Took care of my free book & paid emails as they came in, then got on Aura Kingdom to take care of some of the daily stuff. Then I got on to Minecraft for a little while with Cyn and Casey. We were messing around in the Egyptian world. Then Cyn had to go take care of some things in RL, and Casey had gone away from the computer, so I closed down the world.
Spent some time scrolling through Facebook, not really sure what I wanted to do. Found a couple share-worthy things.
Texted with Cyn quite a bit, more about all this stuff that’s going on with my belly and Daniel.
Speaking of Daniel, finally heard something from him, but it was only to tell me he thought one of my friends tried to message him. I pressed for details like I didn’t know anything about it. I told him she probably was just being nosy and hit it on accident. I asked him how he was, and he said he was good and playing with Michael. I responded with something that was kinda cold and distant, which is totally unlike me. He either didn’t notice that, or didn’t care.
I wish I wasn’t so head over heels for him. I can’t even help it. It was love at first sight. I don’t have any “reasons” for loving him, I just do. I felt a pull in my heart, like it was reaching out for his, and that hasn’t faded and probably never will. I would probably do absolutely anything for him, despite the fact that he doesn’t exactly treat me like a boyfriend should. When we’re together things are wonderful, he’s so kind and caring and is so good to me. But when we’re not together he’s distant. I wish he would act more like a real boyfriend. And I wish he’d stop with the accusations, and going off on me for stupid shit.
In the afternoon, after the storms had cleared, Dave took Casey fishing. I decided I’d go ahead and try out ArcheAge. I wasn’t keen on trying a new “Free to Play” game because they make bank off their cash shops, but I was curious and the curiosity got the better of me.
It ended up taking several hours to download Archeage. During that time Cyn and I contemplated getting on another game, even rolled a die to try and choose between Minecraft, Portal Knights, or Aura Kingdom. I wasn’t able to launch Minecraft with the ArcheAge download going, though. I could have paused the download but it finally started making better progress. Then Dave and Casey got home and I had to get Casey something to eat and get him ready for bed, so I just let the download continue anyway.
Read to Casey from the Minecraft book again, he liked that. Got him snuggled in, then headed back to the computer. There wasn’t long left on the ArcheAge download, and once it was done I got on for a bit. The graphics and animations were nice, and most of it was simple enough. But I was struggling a bit in combat. Just different mechanics.
Ended up going to bed shortly after 11.
