It felt so good to stay entwined with Brad until daylight. Usually, I’ve had to set an alarm for freakishly early so I could get home before Dave had to leave for work. This time I was able to stay in his arms until we woke up naturally. It was so nice.
He made some coffee and offered me some, so we hung around in the kitchen with our coffees until about 8:30. He had to leave to go by his mom’s house and said he was going to see if a friend could get together with him as well.
I never did have the conversation with him that I needed to have. I was both disappointed in myself for avoiding it, as well as kinda glad that at least it meant I would get to see him one more time, again.
I headed home and made some more coffee while the computer booted, then took care of my free book & paid emails. I had to get some work finished in order to meet my goal for hours for the week. It amounted to about 3 1/2 hours left that I had to work. I went ahead and got started and worked for 1 1/2 hours.
I took an extended break just to play Minecraft with Casey. I had enough coins to get a Royal Palace world, so I got that and we played together for a few hours. Then, I got him a bath started and got back to work. I worked for another 1 1/2 hours, then got in the shower. Afterward, I worked for the last half hour while he got ready for bed.
Once Casey was all snuggled into bed, I got on Fallout 76. I joined a Discord call with the remaining guys from that raider group but didn’t really talk much with them. I went about my business trying to gain as much XP as I could until I was ready for bed.
