I got up and got some coffee while the computer booted, then got dressed while also making sure Casey got up, dressed, and fed. I dropped him off at school at the usual time, then headed back home.
I ended up saying “Fuck it” to work, for the most part. I got on Fallout 76 while I waited for my free book & paid emails to come in, but next thing I knew it was time to head to my doctor’s appointment.
The appointment went really well. Come to find out, although I do have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, it’s actually Tennis Elbow that has been giving me all the trouble lately. Basically the same thing (blocked or pinched nerves), caused by the same thing, only originating in different nerves. He gave me a forearm brace to wear, and I could feel instant relief!
I went to Walmart after the appointment, to see if they had my size of the copper gloves. I looked at the box for the hemp gloves I’d gotten, to see what the care instructions were, and noticed it specifically said they were not recommended for use by people with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I thought that was interesting. I ended up having to order the copper gloves (recommended for people with arthritis OR Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) from Amazon since they didn’t have them in stock at Walmart. I did get a different kind of compression glove that I’ve used in the past, only this time I got the correct size. I also got a door stopper so I don’t have to rely on a pair of shoes to keep my bedroom door open.
I headed back home and got my free book & paid emails done, then got a bit of work done before it was time to go pick Casey up from school.
Once we were back home, he got on the toilet and I worked for about 45 minutes. I’d planned to get on Minecraft with him then, but he was doing other things so I got back on Fallout 76. I got back off around the time I had Casey start doing his bedtime stuff, and worked for another 45 minutes. Once he was snuggled into bed, I worked for another half hour, then got back on Fallout 76. I was mostly exploring but was in the middle of a dungeon when I unexpectedly heard from Brad. He asked if I wanted to come over, so I finished up the dungeon, hopped in the shower, then got some fresh PJs on and headed out.
I stopped by Casey’s Spirit Shop for drinks for both of us, but they were already closed for the night. Next, I went to Walmart. I was on my way to the door when Brad let me know that Kwik Trip is usually cheaper. So, I headed back to my car and drove over to Kwik Trip. I got some drinks for us, then headed to his house.
We hung around chatting for quite a while, then went upstairs. We had some fun, which was more like passionate lovemaking, and then went to sleep intertwined.
