Sorry for all the posts. I’m trying to play catch-up!
When he was born, he was 8lbs 6oz and 20 inches long. When he went to the doctor on the 11th, he was 9lbs. They put him in the 50th percentile for weight and height.
He went to the pediatrician yesterday for his 2 month visit. He was 13lbs 3.5oz and 22 inches long. He moved up to the 75th percentile for weight, but stayed in the 50th percentile for height and head circumference. So, he won’t be 6’4″ when he’s fully grown. No surprise with mommy being 5’3″ and daddy being 5’7″.
The doctor said his head has a flat spot and we should make sure it doesn’t get any worse. We need to make sure we do tummy time, even if he hates it and cries the whole time. The more tummy time he does the more round his head could still get.
He got all his 2 month vaccines. The nurse did it quickly, thankfully! His head got BEET red and just as she was done he started to cry, and I was able to pick him up to comfort him. He did end up getting one dose of Tylenol before bed because he was acting like he didn’t feel well. So far today he’s been doing well, I don’t think he’ll need any more.
